This policy covers the belotescore.com website, the BeloteScore web app and the BeloteScore iOS app.
2. Principle: no collection
BeloteScore is designed to work without collecting any personal data:
- No account, no identifier, no email address requested;
- No forms, no newsletter;
- No advertising, no ad trackers;
- No payment, therefore no bank details;
- No request to any third-party service: fonts, stylesheets, scripts and charts are all hosted on the site itself.
The application is entirely static: scoring runs in your browser (or on your iPhone / iPad), and nothing is sent to the publisher.
3. Data kept on your device
So that you can resume an interrupted game, the application saves a few items in your browser’s local storage (localStorage) or on your iOS device. This data never leaves your device.

Team names are free text: nothing requires you to enter real people’s names. None of this is ever read by the publisher.
To erase everything: clear the site data in your browser settings, or uninstall the iOS app. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
4. Hosting provider technical logs
Like any website, belotescore.com is served by a hosting provider — Vercel Inc. — which keeps automatic technical logs: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser type.
These logs are generated by the hosting infrastructure for security and service reliability (legal basis: legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The publisher does not exploit them and derives no visit statistics from them.
5. Cookies and analytics
BeloteScore sets no cookies — not technical, not advertising, not analytics. No consent banner is therefore required.
No analytics tool is installed (no Google Analytics or equivalent). The publisher has no visit statistics whatsoever.
The local storage described in section 3 is not a cookie: it is never sent with network requests and cannot be read from another device.
6. iOS application
The iOS app follows the same principles: no account, no tracker, no data sent to the publisher. Games are stored locally on the device and removed along with the app.
Distribution goes through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes download-related data under its own privacy policy and provides the publisher with aggregated, anonymous statistics (number of downloads, country, iOS version) that cannot identify any user.
The app requests access to no sensitive device data: no contacts, no location, no microphone, no camera, no notifications.
7. Recipients and processors
As no personal data is collected, no data is transmitted, sold or shared. The only third parties involved in delivering the service are:

The database, payment and email services used by the former paid version (Supabase, Lemon Squeezy, Resend) are no longer called: as the app is free, no order is placed and no email address is processed.
8. Transfers outside the European Union
Vercel Inc. and Apple Inc. are established in the United States. Technical logs and distribution data may therefore be processed outside the European Union.
These transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards: both companies adhere to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, recognised as adequate by the European Commission, and apply standard contractual clauses.
9. Retention periods

10. Your rights
The GDPR grants you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over your personal data.
With BeloteScore, the publisher holds no data about you: these rights are therefore exercised directly on your device, by clearing the site data or uninstalling the app. No prior request is needed.
If you have written to support, you may ask for that exchange to be deleted at contact@belotescore.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in France, the CNIL.
11. Minors
BeloteScore is suitable for all audiences and collects no data, including from minors. No age verification is needed, since no personal information is requested.
12. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the service or to the law. The date of the last update appears at the bottom of the page.
Should a paid offer be introduced later, this policy would be updated before any new data is collected, and the change would be prominently displayed on belotescore.com.
